THE 2019 CIVAFEST  PRESENTED VICE GOVERNOR OF EAST JAVA

Civil Society Student Association of UNISMA Civil Engineering Study Program held the 2019 Civafest, an activity that has several series which  took place in November, including the National High School / Vocational High School Civil Design Competition, National Level Civil Competition and the 2019 Civafest activities ended  with a national seminar with the theme of the existence of road and bridge technology in the era of  Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Vice Rector 3 Dr. Ir. H. Badat Muwakhid, M.P in his remarks which at the same time officially opened a national seminar, expressed his appreciation for the Civil Student Association as the organizer of this activity.

“I am more proud and give full appreciation, when a national seminar held by students not faculties, hopefully students from other faculties can do the same thing as Civil Engineering students,” said Vice Rector 3

Andrean Rizal as the chief executive of the 2019 Civafest expressed his gratitude for all the support of those who helped carry out the national seminar that succeeded in inviting speakers from various backgrounds ranging from practitioners to government, such as East Java  Vice Governor Emil Elestianto Dardak, PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Ir. Suwito, and Secretary of the Batu City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, Alfi Nurhidayat, MT.

“This national seminar received an extraordinary response as evidenced by the presence of more than 350 audiences consisting of  UNISMA students and students from other campuses  such as, Brawijaya University, Muhammadiyah University, Polythechnic of Malang, Merdeka University ” he explained.

East Java Vice Governor, Emil Elestianto Dardak, said that in the wake of artificial intelligence, work that used to be done by humans can now be replaced by machines. This development is rapidly developing along with technological advancements. One of them is in the construction sector which includes construction of road and building infrastructure.
