RAMADHAN CARE PROGRAM

Sharing care with others in the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19 certainly became an obligation among people, especially in the middle of the holy month of Ramadhan 1441 H. As the concern to the impacted society, Faculty of Islamic studies of Unisma initiated a program called “ Ramadhan care in the midst of Covid-19” by providing social assistance in the form of food packages and masks.

The “Ramadhan Cares In the midst of COVID-19” program was firstly launched in the MWC office Hall, NU Pakis district. The activity was attended by the leaders of  Unisma’s Faculty of Islamic studies, Pakis Sub-District Chief, Board of Management of MWC, NU and PAC. Ansor Pakis and the people receiving staple  food assistance in Pakis Sub-district area, Wednesday (05/06/2020).

Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies of Unisma, KH. Anwar Sa’dullah, M.PdI, stated that this social assistance was channeled to affected communities in the sector of meeting the needs of staple food which need to be addressed in a short time.

“To target food recipients, we work with community groups, especially Task Force groups in the district of Malang Regency and for social assistance activities in the district of Bululawang we collaborate with alumni who work as PKH Ministry of Social Affairs; meanwhile for Social Assistance Service in the Pakis District, we collaborate with the COVID-19 Task Force Board of MWC NU and PAC. ” Said KH. Anwar Sa’dullah, M.PdI.

Pakis District Government Sub-District Head, Agus Haranto, S. Sos, MAP appreciated the program held by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, UNISMA. According to him, cooperation and cooperation efforts were always built in collaboration with the community to overcome the COVID-19 outbreak.

“The government cannot work alone in overcoming the Corona virus outbreak problem, it must be assisted by all elements of the community, including the Community Organization Task Force and universities. Hopefully in the future it will be continued by other universities and we are ready to distribute social assistance according to people’s data obtained from the government, “said Pakis Sub-district Chief, Agus Haranto, S. Sos, MAP.

In a separate place, Malang Regent, Drs. H. Sanusi, MM, also appreciated the ” Ramadhan care in the Midst of COVID-19″ held by the Faculty of Islamic studies of Unisma “This is the umpteenth time the program has been carried out by UNISMA in collaboration with the government of Malang Regency” said the regent of Malang. Before the assistance from Unisma had been given at the Malang Regency pavilion by Unisma rector, Prof. Dr. Maskuri Bakri, M. Si, the assistance has been distributed to the people in Malang regency.
