The third International Research Conference on Management and Business (3rd IRCMB) was held by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of  Universitas Islam Malang (Unisma) at IlliraBanyuwangi hotel, Tuesday (11/12). Keynote speaker, Prof. Rubi Ahmad from the University of Malaya, discussed issues on the how to publish in reputable journal. The dean of FEB UnismaNur Diana SE, MSi and Conference Chair of 3rd IRCMB stated that this conference provided an opportunity for experts, academics, practitioners in the fields of management, economics, business and finance to discuss several current issues. The focus is on research topics in the fields of economics, accounting, management, information management, information systems and so on. “The forum which is in the call for papers format provides an opportunity for selected papers that have been selected through two stages, namely abstract and full paper selectionscomprising  129 papers from researchers from within and outside the country,” he explained. Selected participants will be asked to present their papers and be assessed for  the Best Paper Award and eligibility to be published in the IRCMB partner journals. As the appreciation,IRCMB will publish the eligible articles by collaborating with nine international partner journals and 4 DIKTI- accredited national journals. Of the 9 international partner journals, 4 of them are Scopus indexed. The keynote speaker, Prof. Rubi Ahmad, said that  publishing scientific papers in reputable international journals is a must for successful academics. In starting publications in reputable journals there are a number of tricks and tips that must be met by  a researcher including by choosing an interesting topic with the correct sample, writing research background clearly, writing appropriate research methodology, and the main assumptions underlying the research model.
