Unisma)held a commemoration of Isra Mi’raj (the Night Journey & Ascension) Prophet Muhammad, May Peace be upon Him, of the 1442 H. It was held at the Ainul Yaqin Unisma Mosque after the Dzuhur (mid day) prayer in congregation, Saturday (20/3).
The Isra Mi’raj program becomes more meaningful with the recitation of Salawat Maulid Diba ‘to begin the agenda. Salawat Maulid Diba’ was chanted by students from the Ainul Yaqin Unisma Islamic Boarding School. The recitation of this salawat has become Unisma’s routine agenda every Saturday of the third Sunday.
The Isra Mi’raj activity was attended by the rector of Unisma, the vice rectors, supervisors and supervisors of the Unisma foundation. Meanwhile, the talk on Isra Mi’raj was delivered by Muhammad Zainul Fadli, M.Kes as the director of the Ainul Yaqin Unisma Islamic Boarding School.
The theme raised by Unisma in this year’s Isra Mi’raj is learning from Isra Mi’raj to strengthen faith, immunity and love for the Prophet Muhammad, May Peace be upon Him SAW ”.
The rector of Unisma, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si, said that Isra Mi’raj is a momentum rich in role models and education. From the moment of isra mi’raj Prophet Muhammad becomes a role model and provides meaningful education to mankind.
One of lessons from that moment is humility. This was exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad during his gathering to the previous prophets in the first to sixth heavens. “Humility teaches us how important to respect and honor older people as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad during mi’raj, “he said.
