COMPLETING STAGE TWO VACCINATION

Unisma completes the second phase of vaccination for the academic community.

The rector of Unisma, Prof. Dr. H Maskuri Msi, said Unisma is currently preparing for the implementation of offline teaching and learning in accordance with government policies regarding the plan to implement face-to-face learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. “Indeed, there is a circular stating that universities should prepare themselves for face-to-face lectures,” said the rector of Unisma.

Currently Unisma is completing the second phase of vaccination  for 632 people from the total vaccinations for 747 people according to those registered with the Malang City Government Health Office. The second phase of vaccination will last until March 29.

“Vaccination is in preparation for offline learning for the odd semester of 2021/2022. Vaccination is to provide security for students, lecturers, employees, parents and the community,” he said.

Furthermore, Prof. Maskuri explained that the implementation of face-to-face lectures is as response to government decisions and policies. In this case, he continued, Unisma want to be in line with the government through carrying out vaccinations program.

“Even if there is a decision from the government  on offline learning by adjusting the learning hours alternately, Unisma is ready to carry out all government decisions.” He explained

It should be noted that the vaccination of Unisma academics took place at Unisma hospital.
