Rapat senat terbuka Universitas Islam Malang (Unisma) dalam rangka Lustrum ke-8 makin menunjukkan penentuan sikap Unisma sebagai bagian dari Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Pasalnya, Lustrum ke-8 yang berlangsung Sabtu (27/03) ini juga bersamaan dengan peresmian 9 fasilitas baru di Unisma.
Kesembilannya fasilitas tersebut antara lain Laboratorium Terpadu, Perpustakaan, Masjid Ainul Yaqin, Pondok Pesantren Ainul Yaqin, Inkubator Bisnis, Gedung Kyai Haji Usman Mansyur, Bisnis Center, Laboratorium Taman Anggrek, dan batik khas Unisma. Seperti diketahui bahwa angka 9 memiliki makna filosofis yang erat dengan NU.
“Lustrum ke-8 Universitas Islam Malang meresmikan 9 hal. Dan ini menunjukkan ada penentuan sikap dari Unisma sebagai bagian dari NU,” ungkap Rektor Unisma, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si.
Lebih lanjut, Prof Maskuri menerangkan bahwa sejak awal Unisma berdiri selalu sarat akan angka 9. Mulai dari perintis Unisma sejumlah 27 orang, dimana 2 ditambah 7 adalah 9. Pendirian Unisma juga di tanggal 27, dengan filosofi yang sama, 2 ditambah 7 sama dengan 9. Bahkan tim pendiri Unisma juga sejumlah 9.
“NU juga memiliki bintang 9. Sejak pertama diawali dengan angka 0 sampai 9, ini menunjukkan bahwa Unisma betul-betul sejatinya NU,” tambahnya.
Lebih lanjut, Prof Maskuri mengatakan bahwa seharusnya fasilitas tersebut diresmikam di tahun 2020. Namun sayang, pandemi yang datang di awal 2020 memaksa Unisma harus mengundurkan peresmian gedung-gedung tersebut di tahun 2021.
Berkaitan dengan fasilitas yang baru saja diresmikan, Prof Maskuri pun menjelaskan beberapa. Pertama untuk Laboratorium Terpadu merupakan gedung yang menampung laboratorium beberapa fakultas, seperti Fakultas Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Fakultas Matematika dan IPA (Mipa), dan Fakultas Kedokteran.
Kemudian untuk Perpustakaan Unisma, pihaknya ingin mengadaptasi perpustakaan dari berbagai negara supaya mampu menyajikan fasilitas maksimal dan tidak kalah dengan perguruan tinggi besar di Indonesia lainnya.[:en]

The nine facilities include an Integrated Laboratory, Library, Ainul Yaqin Mosque, Ainul Yaqin Islamic Boarding School, Business Incubator, Kyai Haji Usman Mansyur Building, Business Center, Orchid Garden Laboratory, and typical Unisma batik. As it is known that the number 9 has a philosophical meaning that is closely related to NU.

Furthermore, Prof. Maskuri explained that since the beginning, Unisma was identical to number 9 such as the pioneers of Unisma who consist of 27 people, of which 2 plus 7 is 9. Even the founding team of Unisma were 9.
“NU also has a symbol of 9 stars. This all shows that Unisma is truly NU,” he added.
Furthermore, Prof. Maskuri said that the facility should be inaugurated in 2020. Due to the pandemic which hit Indonesia in early 2020, the inauguration of these buildings were psotponed until 2021.
Regarding the facility that was recently inaugurated, Prof. Maskuri also explained several points. First, the Integrated Laboratory is a building that accommodates laboratories for several faculties, such as the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and the Faculty of Medicine.
Then for the Unisma Library, his party wants to adapt libraries from various countries so that they are able to provide maximum facilities and are left behind from other large universities in Indonesia.[:ar]
في الاجتماع المفتوح لمجلس شيوخ جامعة مالانج الإسلامية، أكدت الجامعة موقفها الثابت كجزء لا يتجزأ من جمعية نهضة العلماء. قال ذلك مدير الجامعة، أ. د. مشكوري متزامنا مع افتتاح 9 مباني جديدة، وهي: المختبرات، والمكتبة، والمسجد، والمعهد، ومبنى عثمان منصور في مستشفى الجامعة، ومركز الأعمال، وحديقة الورود، ومصنع باتيك مما دل أن رقم 9 له معنى فلسفي مرتبط ارتباطًا وثيقًا بجمعية نهضة العلماء. وأوضح إن الجامعة منذ تأسيسها مرتبط برقم 9، بدءًا من عدد مؤسسيها الـ 27 شخصًا، حيث أن 2 + 7 = 9، وتاريخ تأسيسها كذلك في يوم 27 (2 + 7 = 9) وهذا العدد يوافق عدد نجوم جمعية نهضة العلماء الــ 9. من المفترض تم هذا الافتتاح في عام 2020 الماضية، ولكن لسوء الحظ، أجبر وباء كورونا الذي ظهر في أوائل عام 2020 تأجيل الافتتاح إلى هذا العام 2021. فالمختبرات المتكاملة تتكون من المختبرات العديدة لتربية الحيوان، والزراعة، والرياضيات، والعلوم الطبيعية، والطب. وأما المكتبة تم تصميمها بأخذ فكرة من المكتبات الموجودة في البلدان المختلفة، وذلك لأجل المنافسة مع المكتبات الموجدة في الجامعات الكبيرة في إندونيسيا.
