Dua mahasiswa Unisma Malang Moh. Agil Bagus dan RB. Moh. Ismail Huzain dari Tim Simaya Terus Jaya Fakultas Teknik jurusan Teknik Sipil Unisma Malang, mengikuti lomba Balsa Bridge dengan tema Bridge for The Future .
Lomba ini digelar pada kegiatan Civil Festival HMTS Universitas Langlang Buana Bandung, 3-4 Agustus 2019. Proses penilaian meliputi beban berat yang dapat ditempuh kemudian dibagi dengan berat jembatan. Dan salah satu yang menjadi tim dengan nilai efisienai terbesar adalah Tim Simaya Terus Jaya dari Unisma Malang.
Untuk mekanisme pengecekan jembatan dilakukan dengan cara mengukur secara teliti terkait dengan lebar, tinggi, dan kayu balsa yang digunakan.
Tim dari Fak Teknik Unisma Malang tersebut masuk ke final berhadapan dengan PT lain, setelah proses pengecekan usai. Dengan persaingan yang ketat, akhirnya Tim Simaya Terus Jaya Unisma Malang berhasil meraih juara kedua dan berhasil mengungguli perwakilan 21 PTN maupun PTS seluruh Indonesia.[:en]
Simaya Terus Jaya, the team ofUnisma’s Faculty of Engineering students again made achievements. The team consisting of Moh. Agil Bagus and RB. Moh. Ismail Huzain won the 2nd place in the Balsa Bridge Competition in the Civil Festival of Student Association of Langlang Buana University, Bandung.
The Civil Engineering Festival was participated by 21 state and private universities from Sabang to Merauke. The assessment process included load bearingdivided by the weight of the bridge. One of the teams with the highest efficiency value is the Simaya Terus Jaya team
“The bridge checking mechanism is carried out by carefully measuring the width, height and balsa wood used and thank God our team entered the final against other universities,” said Agil.
Through the testing process the total weight that can be borne is 114.75 kg with a bridge weight of 27 g and with an efficiency value of 4250.
At the top of the event in the following day, August 4, 2019, we are very grateful that we have achieved great results, added Ismail.

فاز للمرة الثانية فريق طلاب كلية الهندسة وهما عقيل بغوس ومحمد إسماعيل حسين على المركز الثاني في مسابقة صناعة الجسور بلسا التي تعقد في جامعة لانج لانج بوانا باندونج جاوا الغربية حيث يشترك فيها 21 جامعة حكومية وأهلية من المناطق المختلفة. ويشتمل تقييم لجنة التحكيم في تلك المسابقة قياس وزن الجسر مقارنة بسعة التحمل، وقياس عرض الجسر وطوله وعدد الأخشاب التي تستخدم في صناعته. كان في الجولة التمهيدية نجح الفريق من المرور بها حتى تمكنوا من الدخول في الجولة نصف النهائي ومروا بها هذه المرة ناجحين حتى فازوا أخيرا في الجولة النهائية على المركز الثاني بعد تفوقهم على كل المنافسين.
