Maintaining hospitality and intimacy with alumni is an important routine for University of Islam Malang (Unisma). In the 2019 National Alumni Gathering (SILATNAS), the Rector of Unisma Prof. Dr. Maskuri, M.Si reminded the importance of maintaining Islamic faith that had been studied by alumni during their education at Unisma.
According to the Rector, it is important to continue to hold the teachings of Islam as Rahmatan lil Alamin( A mercy to all creation) for the alumni even though they have graduated from Unisma.
“Don’t develop other ideologies after completing the study in Unisma. Aswaja, the Sunni Islamic sect of Islam, must be maintained so our society remains peaceful, spread goodness to other people, “said the Rector of Unisma.
In addition to maintaining the faith, he hopes that the alumni can invite Unisma students to do internship in their company. He added that it will be more efficient because the quality and the faith of Unisma graduates are in accordance with them and hence, no more adjustment. “Our expectations are great for the alumni.” He emphasized.
He hopes that all Unisma alumni can work together to improve the quality of the society and also human resources.
