Rektor Unisma Malang Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si melakukan menjalin kerjasama dengan Mr. Chen Kai, pimpinan Maize Research Institute Academy of Agricultural Sciences (MRI-SAAS) di ruang Rektor Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA), dengan Penandatangana MoU di Gedung Umar bin Khottob, Jumat (23/8/2019).
Kegiatan penandatanganan kerja sama ini disaksikan oleh Plt. Bupati Malang, Drs. H. M. Sanusi, M.M, dan didampingi oleh Kepala Dinas Tanaman Pangan Hortikultura dan Perkebunan (DTPHP) Kabupaten Malang, Dr. Ir. Budiar Anwar, M.Si.
“Tujuan dari kerja sama penelitian ini adalah kerja sama dibidang pertanian dan peternakan yaitu penelitian di bidang peningkatan produktivitas Jagung dan Susu Sapi di Kabupaten Malang, ungkap Prof. Drs. H. Junaidi, M.Pd., Ph.D, Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik dan Kerja Sama Unisma Malang.
Dengan adanya kerja sama ini, Rektor UNISMA, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si dan Plt. Bupati Malang Drs. H. M. Sanusi, M.M, berharap agar hasil-hasil rencana kerja sama pengembangan penelitian oleh Unisma Malang dengan MRI-SAAS China ini mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kabupaten Malang melalui peningkatan produksi pertanian dan peternakan. Terlebih MRI-SAAS telah memiliki reputasi penelitian unggulan tingkat dunia di bidang pertanian dan peternakan. Lembaga ini telah bekerja sama dengan berbagai negara di penjuru dunia, antara lain Australia, Eropa, Amerika, dan beberapa negara di Asia.
Lebih lanjut, kepala kantor urusan Internasional (KUI) UNISMA, Dr. Imam Wahyudi Karimullah, MA, sebagai pemandu kegiatan Focus Group Discussion dengan tema “Initiating Collaboration in Research on Agricultural and Livestock Production between Unisma (Indonesia) and MRI-SAAS (China): Facilitated by Local Government of Malang Regency, menyampaikan bahwa dalam waktu dekat KUI bersama dengan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) Unisma akan menindaklanjuti rencana kerja sama penelitian ini. Termasuk proses izin mitra luar negeri Unisma yang akan melaksanakan joint research dengan Unisma Malang.
“Hal ini merupakan peluang positif untuk mendesain program program yang bisa dikerja samakan bersama antara Unsima Malang , MRI-SAAS, dan Pemerintah Kebupaten Malang,” ungkap, Dr. H. Mochtar Data, M.Pd (Sekretaris Dewan Pembina Yayasan UNISMA) yang juga hadir membuka kegiatan Focus Group Discussion dengan MRI-SAAS, China.

The Rector of Unisma, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si, established cooperation with Mr. Chen Kai, head of the Maize Research Institute Academy of Agricultural Sciences (MRI-SAAS) in the rector’s room of the University of Islam Malang (UNISMA), by signing MoU at the Umar bin Khottob Building, Friday (23/08/2019).
The signing of the collaboration was witnessed by the acting Malang regent, Drs. H. M. Sanusi, M.M, and accompanied by the Head of the Horticultural and Plantation Food Crop Service (DTPHP) of Malang regency, Dr. Ir. Budiar Anwar, M.Sc.
“The purpose of this research collaboration is cooperation in agriculture and animal husbandry, namely research in the field of corn and cow milk productivity improvement in Malang Regency” said Prof. Drs. H. Junaidi, M.Pd., Ph.D, vice rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation of Unisma.
With this collaboration, the rector of Unisma, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si and the acting Malang regent, Drs. H. M. Sanusi, M.M, hope that the results of the collaborative research development plan by Unisma and MRI-SAAS China will be able to improve the welfare of the people in Malang regency through increasing agricultural and livestock production. Moreover, MRI-SAAS has a world-class leading research reputation in agriculture and animal husbandry. This institution has cooperated with various countries around the world, including Australia, Europe, America and several Asian countries.
Furthermore, the head of Unisma’s International Affairs Office (KUI), Dr. Imam Wahyudi Karimullah, MA, as the facilitator for Focus Group Discussion with the theme “Initiating Collaboration in Research on Agricultural and Livestock Production between Unisma (Indonesia) and MRI-SAAS (China) facilitated by Local Government of Malang Regency said that in the near future KUI in collaboration with the Unisma’s Research and Community Service Unit (LPPM) will follow up this research collaboration plan such as by arranging permission from Unisma’s foreign partners to carry out joint research with Unisma.
“This is a positive opportunity to design programs that can be shared by Unsima, MRI-SAAS, and Malang regency government,” said Dr. H. Mochtar Data, M.Pd (Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the UNISMA Foundation) who also attended the opening of Focus Group Discussion with MRI-SAAS, China.

وقع مدير جامعة مالانج الإسلامية، أ. د. مشكوري ومدير مركز البحوث الصينية MRI-SAAS، جين كاي مذكرة التفاهم بين الطرفين (23/8) في مجالي الزراعة والإنتاج الحيواني بحضور القائم بالأعمال في حكومة محافظة مالانج، محمد سنوسي الحاج ورئيس هيئة الزراعة والبساتين، د. م. بوديار أنوار. قال النائب الأول لمدير الجامعة، أ. د. جنيدي مستار أن الهدف من توقيع المذكرة زيادة رفاهية المجتمع في محافظة مالانج من خلال برنامج زيادة إنتاج محاصيل الذرة ولبن البقر، علما أن MRI-SAAS لديه خبرة طويلة في هذين المجالين، بجانب أنه قد وقع مذكرات مماثلة مع كثير من الدول، مثل: أستراليا، وأوروبا، وأمريكا، وبعض الدول في قارة آسيا. رئيس قسم التعاون الدولي بالجامعة، د. إمام وحيودي الذي أشرف على برنامج المحاضرة العلمية بعنوان “مبادرة التعاون بين جامعة مالانج الإسلامية ومركز البحوث الصينية MRI-SAAS في مجالي الزراعة والإنتاج الحيواني بإشراف حكومة محافظة مالانج” قال في كلماته أن الجامعة سوف تنفذ كل بنود الإتفاقية وتعمل على إجراءات إذن العمل لـ MRI-SAAS في إندونيسيا. وأما السكرتير العام لموسسة الجامعة، د. مختار داتا قال عند افتتاح المحاضرة أن الجامعة وحكومة محافظة مالانج سوف تستفيدان من هذا التعاون في مجالي البحث والاجتماع.
