The 2nd Surveillance Audit of ISO 9001: 2015

Sucofindo firm has audited Unisma Malang for two days (15-16 / 1). The result of the second surveillance audit of ISO 9001:2015 conducted by Holys  revealed  a stable performance and this is  relieving to Unisma leaders.

The activity which is an annual agenda of the Quality Assurance Agency (BPM) was welcomed by the auditees who were scheduled to be audited for two days.

Like the previous audit, this time the auditor made a visit to several work units at this university  for improvement and management recommendations.

The work units include the Quality Assurance Agency, the Institutional Administration Bureau, Publications and Information Technology, the General Administration Bureau, Finance and Personnel, the Academic and Cooperation Administration Bureau, and the Center for Management and Development of Information and Communication Technology.

Holys reported his two day auditing at the closing surveillance meeting on January 16, 2020 in Umar Bin Khattab building, 4th floor of Unisma.

The closing of surveillance audit was also attended by vice rector 2 and 4, heads of Bureau as well as heads of divisions of University of Islam Malang.

The auditor said that he found 3 observational and 3 minor findings. Even though the results have shown better performance compared to the previous ISO 1st Surveillance audit, promises and commitments for improvements based on suggestions for every  work unit should be followed up immediately according to the agreed ISO clause, he stressed.

Based on the results of the 2nd surveillance of ISO 9001: 2015, the auditor recommended that Unisma keep holding an ISO 9001: 2015 certificate. This achievement is a pride of all members of  Unisma.

By maintaining the certification that has been obtained in April 2019, it becomes evidence that University of Islam Malang is a quality educational institution
