Simaya Terus Jaya, the team ofUnisma’s Faculty of Engineering students again made achievements. The team  consisting of Moh. Agil Bagus and RB. Moh. Ismail Huzain won the 2nd place in the Balsa Bridge Competition in the Civil Festival of Student Association of Langlang Buana University, Bandung.
The Civil Engineering Festival was participated  by 21 state and private universities from Sabang to Merauke. The assessment process included load bearingdivided by the weight of the bridge. One of the teams with the highest efficiency value is the Simaya Terus Jaya team
“The bridge checking mechanism is carried out by carefully measuring the width, height and balsa wood used and thank God our team entered the final against other universities,” said Agil.
Through the testing process the total weight that can be borne is 114.75 kg with a bridge weight of 27 g and with an efficiency value of 4250.
At the top of the event in the following day, August 4, 2019, we are very grateful that we have achieved great results, added Ismail.
