The peak event of the 38th anniversary of Unisma was the international symposium, Global Summit of University Leaders (GSoUL) on Wednesday throughThursday (27-28 / 3/2019).
The grand event as the culmination of the 38th Anniversary was the international symposium “Global Summit of University Leaders” (GSoUL) or the World Higher Education Leadership Conference attended by 30 universities from 14 countries including Russia, Taiwan, Japan, Brunei Darussalam, Sudan, Malaysia , Philippines, Timor Leste, Vietnam, Jordan and Thailand
GSoUL activities will be opened symbolically by beating the gong by the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Prof. Mohamad Nasir, PhD.Ak., who subsequently delivered Studium Generale with the theme of managing Higher Education in Industrial Era 4.0. This is in line with the big theme of GSoUL namely “Managing Higher Education in the Industrial Age 4.0: West and East Experiences”
The agenda of GSoUL is divided into 4 different sessions, and in each session the rector of international and Indonesian universities shared best practices, especially preparing graduates to welcome the era of industry 4.0 challenges and thinking about the society fight 5.0
In the first session, the rector of University of Islam Malang Malang, National Pingtung University Taiwan, Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences of Sudan, Moscow City Russia and Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep of Thailand were given the same time and opportunity to discuss GsoUL big theme.
This is solely to realize Unisma as a World Class University, and this is not an easy thing because it requires readiness to show the best quality education performance.
But with the enthusiasm to make it happen Unisma academics are determined to always move to find new breakthroughs and solutions to any deadlock for progress and greatness of Unisma program measured by clear indicators of success with various concepts out of the box.
