University of Islam Malang (Unisma) once again has  made a new breakthrough in collaboration with NU Channel, a YouTube and TV channel owned by the Nahdhatul Ulama Executive Board . This campus with its popular slogan, NU for Indonesia and World Civilization, is working on the Millennial Study Program and Spiritual Library in the month of Ramadhan, or called the Ramadhan Campus.
Unisma’s rector, Prof. Dr. H Maskuri Msi, in the teaser uploaded on the Unisma Official YouTube account said that the Ramadhan Campus Program in the collaboration of Unisma with the NU Channel was dedicated to build world culture and civilization.
“On the Ramadhan campus, we will study strategic issues that are current and judged from the perspective of the past and the present. All of that is packaged futuristically. “We will also present public discussions, spiritual guidance, and soothing entertainment during the month of Ramadan,” Maskuri said.
Unisma’s Vice Rector 4, Dr. Ir Hj Istirochah Pujiwati MP, also explained that Unisma as the largest NU University in Indonesia along with NU Channel TV streaming intends to spend the month of Ramadan with the latest studies, actual problems in society related to Islamic concepts.
“For example, the current problems with education in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, Unisma responded it by imitating Islamic and national education leaders, for example Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn Sina, national education figures such as Ki Hajar Dewantoro with his motto in ngarso sung tulodho, ing madyo mbangun karso and tutwuri handayani“(in the front giving a guide, in the middle giving zeal, on behind giving strength) explained vice rector 4.
She mentioned several speakers who took part in the Ramadhan Campus program, including the chairman of the East Java PWNU KH Marzuki Mustamar, Unisma alumni from various elements such as Ir H Punjul Santoso SH MM, vice mayor of Batu (executive), Nurul Setyowati SE,  Alumni of faculty of economic and busines, and local house of representative of Malang city (Legislature), M Nurruddin SPt, MP, chair of the Unisma Alumni Association, to alumni engaged in entrepreneurship, deans, graduate directors, vice deans / deputy directors to chair of study programs at Unisma.
“The choice of material varies every day from fasting in the perspective of health, fasting in the study of ritual and social piety, to the latest studies in the field of science in 10 faculties and graduate program” she concluded.
The Ramadhan Campus is guided by Unisma rector, Prof. Dr. H Maskuri MSi as the host accompanied by Daris Zubaida SAB MAB as a co-host milinially and professionally packed. This program will air every day at 16.00 West Indonesia Time during the month of Ramadan on NU TV Channel at Chinasat 11 98 East Longitude LNB FREQ 12,500 SYM Rate 43,200 Vertical Polarization.
