UNISMA’S SOCIAL CONCERNS

Ainul Yaqin mosque of Unisma received 21 cows in the 1440 Hijriah Eid al-Adha celebration. The 21 cows came from the academic community of Unisma, residents around the campus and Bank of Mandiri Syariah.

The 11 of them were slaughtered in the fostered village of Unisma Malang. The vice rector 4, Dr. Ir. Hj. Istirochah Pujiwati, MP informed that the slaughtering of cows in the fostered village of Unisma’s is manisfestation of our social concern.

Furthermore Dr. Istirochah explained that the sacrificial animals were given to 6 districts including 3 cows in Jabung District, 3 cows in Turen District, 1 cow in Wajak District, 1 cow in Jengglong Village, Wagir District, 1 cow in Dau District, and 1 cow in Bocek Village, Karangploso District.

Meanwhile in his address when giving sacrificial animals to the Ainul Yaqin Unisma Mosque, vice rector 1, Prof. Drs. H. Junaidi Mistar, M.Pd, Ph.D. expressed his hope that Unisma could further increase the number of sacrificial animals for better participation in future Eid al-Adha.
“In addition to slaughtering sacrificial animals, the grand religious talk will also be held on August 13-14, 2019,” he said.

Prof. Junaidi, also explained that in every subdistrict, the management of sacrificial animal distribution is in collaboration with MWCNU, Muslimat and GP Ansor.
