ALL PASSED STUDENT COMPETENCY EXAMINATION FOR DOCTOR PROFESSION PROGRAM

All students of the Faculty of Medicine, Unisma, passed the Doctor Profession Program Student Competency Examination in the second period or last May 2021. Especially, this is a record four times in a row achieved by students of Faculty of Medicine, Unisma.

Most recently, all 22 students pass Doctor Profession Program Student Competency Examination. It should be emphasized that the Faculty of Medicine of Unisma in 2021 no longer has crackers or examinees who have to retake the next exam. This is a special achievement of the Faculty of Medicine, Unisma.

The dean of Faculty of Medicine, Unisma, dr. Rahma Triliana, M.Kes., Ph.D. said that this achievement is one of the great attainments of the Faculty of Medicine, Unisma, because, it can be used as a campus parameter. “Almost all graduates who take the exam are first takers. There were 20 first takers and 2 crackers who participated in Doctor Profession Program Student Competency Examination last May,” she said.

Passing with the status of the first taker certainly offers many advantages for students. Among them are better chances of being able to take specialist education allowing more job opportunities. “So it is very beneficial for further education and job market “she explained.

Doctor Profession Program Student Competency Examination is held four times in two semesters organized by the Jakarta National Competency Examination Committee. To take this test, students have to go through several processes. First, the students must join professional education. Next, they must register as a test taker to the Jakarta National Competency Examination Committee. The exam is divided into two competencies. The first is the written competency test or computer-based test (CBT) and the second is the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) practice test.
