A 1.8 BILLION RUPIAH GRANT

Unisma won a grant from the Ministry of Education and Culture for Research Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. At the end of 2021 Unisma was included in the Main Cluster of Private Universities which received a grant of Rp. 1.8 billion for six research and community service.

There are three main studies, three community services, and two supporting research. The three main studies consist of the impact of the Autonomous Learning-Independent Campus program on Unisma students, lecturers, and education staff. The titles include the Impact of the Implementation of the Autonomous Learning-Independent Campus Program on the Dynamics of Student Performance at Unisma, Observing the Impact and Role of Lecturers in the Implementation of the Autonomous Learning-Independent Campus  Program to Support Optimizing the Achievement of Key Performance Indicators at Unisma and Analysis of the Impact of the Implementation of Key Performance Indicators on the Performance of Education Personnel at Unisma.

Vice-Rector  1 of Unisma, Prof. Dr. H. Junaidi, M.Pd., Ph.D., said that Unisma has managed to win this grant based on strict assessments over the past year. The Ministry of Education and Culture, Research, and Technology conduct an assessment of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Among them are in the field of Autonomous Learning-Independent Campus program, research, and community service. “Alhamdulillah, we have been trusted to manage this grant fund as a campus categorized in the main cluster,” he said.

Research and community service is a program that has become a tradition of Unisma. The success in obtaining several grants is proof of the quality of Unisma in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

To make this grant program successful,  Unisma involved 7490 students, 385 lecturers, and 351 education staff. According to Prof. Junaidi, Unisma’s success in obtaining grants for the Independent Learning Policy Research Program for the Autonomous Learning-Independent Campus program and Research-Based Community Service is a big mandate to improve the quality of education in higher education. “We are determined to go beyond the national standard of higher education. With more achievements, it is hoped that the trust in Unisma will increase,” he said.
