ASIIN HAS ASSESSED UNISMA’S THREE STUDY PROGRAMS

Unisma is moving rapidly to strengthen its performance at the international level. Yesterday, Unisma has just completed an international accreditation field assessment for three study programs namely the study programs of Animal Husbandry, Agribusiness, and Agrotechnology.

This international accreditation visit was carried out by ASIIN International Accreditation, an international quality assurance agency based in Germany. The visitation activity was carried out virtually in several stages for three days starting from 7 to 9 February 2022.

Unisma’s  Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si, said that accreditation is an effort to determine the quality of an educational institution. Because of that accreditation, the institution is increasingly trusted. And several study programs at Unisma are now increasing their accreditation in the international class. “Seven other study programs will soon follow,” said the rector.

The international spirit carried by Unisma cannot be separated from the commitment of this Green Campus which has declared itself as a university from NU, for Indonesia and world civilization. “With this accreditation, Unisma will be increasingly recognized at the international level,” he added.

Furthermore, Prof. Maskuri explained several points that were assessed for accreditation by ASIIN. Among others are Human Resources (HR), curriculum, infrastructure, quality assurance system, research and community service, and even the outcomes of the learning process.

The internationalizing is also for lecturers and students through international conference credit transfers and joint research. There are also lecture mobility, student mobility, student exchange, and building national as well as international networks “all of these are Unisma’s efforts to venture into the international world,” he concluded.
