RELEASING 818 THEMATIC COMMUNITY SERVICES OF BACHELOR CANDIDATES

 

 

Unisma released the departure of 818 Thematic Community Services of Bachelor Candidates in 2021/2022 in a hybrid manner at the Unisma Graduate graduate Building, Saturday (5/2/2022).

The head of the Unisma Research and Community Service Institute, Dr. Nour Athiroh AS SSi MKes said that in addition to realizing the implementation of courses taken as community service, this program also provides hands-on experience for students to learn to identify, plan, as well as develop regional potential by working with the community.

“This Thematic Community Services of Bachelor Candidates starts on February 5, 2022, until March 12, 2022. A total of 818 students come from 10 faculties and are guided by 21 field assistant lecturers. They will be deployed in several areas, starting from Malang Raya, Pasuruan to Bima,” she said.

Meanwhile, Unisma Rector, Prof. Dr. H Maskuri M.Si,  added that Unisma students must be able to provide various kinds of solutions related to problems and dynamics that exist in society. “Unisma students must be able to bring thoughts that are more creative, innovative, constructive, and more productive to change the mindset and culture set of the community,” he explained.

Malang regent, Drs H M Sanusi MM,  hopes that this Thematic Community Services of Bachelor Candidates program can be beneficial for students as well as the community concerning the state of the region and various potentials. We hope to generate creativity, collaboration, communication,  and students’ critical thinking for development, especially in whole Malang,” he said.

For information, out of a total of 818 students, 437 of them are from the Faculty of Islamic  Studies, 104 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, 100 students from the Faculty of  Teacher Training and Education, 88 students from the Faculty of Engineering, 33 students from the Faculty of Law, 13 students from the Faculty of Agriculture, 13 students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, 12 students from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, 11 students from the Faculty of Administration and 7 students from the Faculty of Medicine.

Meanwhile, the output of this program will be in the form of service report articles as chapter blocks. Also, activity videos will be uploaded through the YouTube channel, service copyrights, and posters to publications in mass media. All of the outputs compiled by the best Nahdlatul Ulama tertiary institutions are very relevant in supporting the Autonomous Learning-Independent Campus program and improving Key Performance Indicators
