The students of Unisma made another achievement. A total of seven students won the National Holy Koran contest. This contest was organized by the students activity unit of Ar-Rayhaan Jambi University, some time ago.
The winners are Muhammad Bashory, the 1st Place in Men’s Holy Koran Recitation, Ariya Wahyu Ekaputra, the male 2nd consolation prize winner, M. Taufiqillah Syafi’ie, 3rd Place in male holy Koran recitation category, Firda Qotrunnada and Rifatul Chusnia, 2nd Place in Scientific Writing, Assaabiqotul Mardliyah and Intan Sintia Dewi Agustin, 1st consolation prize winner in the scientific writing category.
Muhammad Bashory said that the competition in the National Holy Koran contest was so hard. According to him, many outstanding students have great potential and abilities. “Alhamdulillah (thank God) I am very grateful to have won the male Holy Koran Recitation competition,” he said, Tuesday (26/10).
Unisma rector, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si said that the winners of the competition, especially the best winners, would receive prizes and awards. “In addition to getting an award from the campus, there will also be additional prizes from me such as assistance for fieldwork practice and community service fees so that you don’t have to pay for them,” said Prof. Maskuri.
He added, if students can maintain their achievements, there will be scholarship assistance if they want to continue to higher education level such as the Masters program at Unisma. This scholarship consists of tuition assistance and development program fees.
To produce outstanding students, Unisma always supports the talents and interests of students. “We have formed a team called the Golden Generation Entrepreneur. This team was organized with the aim that Unisma students are not only good at science and technology but also have good morality,” he explained.
He hopes that Unisma graduates can become rich people, rich in economy, rich in a relationship and intellectual development.
