Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) handed over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance to the Unisma valued around 379 million rupiahs in the form of an Artificial Intelligence Studio, Friday (8/10).
The Artificial Intelligence Studio room is located on the 1st floor of the Unisma graduate building. The building belongs to Unisma, while the renovation and procurement of space equipment is borne by BRI.
Unisma rector, Prof Dr. H Maskuri Msi, said that the Artificial Intelligence Studio was part of strengthening student creativity programs, especially in the entrepreneurship sector. “This studio space building will be multi-functional. The interior, tables, chairs, computers, LCD are all from BRI. We only prepare the room,” he said.
Prof. Maskuri also mentioned that this new studio is a part of developing student competencies so that they are more developed and have better competitiveness.
Meanwhile, Moch Syarif Budiman as branch manager of BRI Malang Martadinata hopes that this collaboration will continue for the benefit of society in general. “At present, BRI often receives mandates from the government, related not only to banking duties but also to programs for the benefit of the people,” he said.
BRI also supports the development of MSMEs, especially amid the Covid-19 pandemic. It is committed to continuing to be present in society.
“Students can enrich learning methods because the era is digital. This Artificial Intelligence Studio is relevant to respond to the digital world. This is the era of Big Data and the Internet of Things. I hope that Unisma students are all ready to go digital,” he concluded on behalf of BRI.
