Law faculty of Unisma signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Regional Management of the Indonesian Notary Association on Thursday (07/08/2020). Activities took place on the 3rd floor of Red Room Building B of Unisma and was broadcasted online via Zoom Meeting, Youtube.
The agenda was attended directly by the Chairperson of the Regional Management of the Indonesian Notary Association, Malang chapter, R.Imam Rahmat Syafi’i, S.H., M.kn along with other Regional Management representatives and management, the dean of Faculty of Law, Dr. H. Suratman, S.H., M.Hum, who was accompanied by vice dean I, Benny Krestian Heriawanto, S.H., M.Hum., M.Kn and vice dean II, Abid Zamzami S.H., M.H.
In his address, the Dean of Faculty of Law said that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was the first step for the Faculty of Law to enhance cooperation with various institutions, both state and private institutions.
“This is merely to improve the implementation of Tridharma of higher education, especially in the field of teaching and education in the Faculty of Law, Unisma, as well as to prepare for the implementation of freedom campus, “he explained.
Chairman of Regional Management of the Indonesian Notary Association, R. Imam Rahmat Syafi’i, S.H., M.kn, also expressed his enormous appreciation for this collaboration. “Faculty of Law is one of the best law faculties in Malang and this collaboration is a good step to prepare a reliable and characterful notary,” he said.
After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, the activity was continued with a talkshow with the theme “Problems and Solutions: Notary World in Practice” moderated by Isdiyana Kusuma Ayu, SH., M.Kn (Academics of Law Faculty of Unisma). The first guest speaker was R. Imam Rahmat Syafi’i, S.H., M.Kn as the Chairperson of Regional Management of the Indonesian Notary Association for Malang chapter and the second guest speaker was Benny Krestian Heriawanto, S.H., M.Hum., M.Kn as academics as well as Vice Dean I of Faculty of Law
