Faculty of Administrative Sciences of Unisma held an international webinar with the theme “Strategies for Strengthening Characters of Human Resources in Public and Business Sectors during Covid-19 Pandemic” (22/06).
The activity that took place via Live Zoom presented three speakers including Prof. HM Mas’ud Said, MM, Ph.D, the director of graduate programs of Unisma, Hj Halimaturradiah binti Dato Seri Setia Haji Metussin, the coordinator of Center for Lecturer & Industry Training for Knowledge and Language Promotion, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, Brunei Darussalam and Hj. Nur Annisa bint Haji Sarbini, Ph.D (Candidate), a lecturer of Islamic University of Sultan Sharif Ali, Brunei Darussalam.
This webinar was attended by all lecturers, staff, and students of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences. In addition, there were 307 participants with 450 registrants from various tertiary institutions, including Batik Solo University, UNTAG Surabaya, Unitomo Surabaya, Tulungagung University, and others. In fact, there were also participants from Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam.
Vice Rector 1 of Unisma, Prof. H. Junaidi Mistar Ph.D, in his remarks as well as opening the event conveyed his appreciation to the deans and lecturers of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences”The topic presented is well suited to the discussion of how to provide quality human resource in the public and business sectors during the Covid-19 pandemic” he said.
This very interesting activity ended with a conclusion from the dean of Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Rini Rahayu Kurniati, M.Si, that in the midst of a pandemic like this, we must always think positively to Allah SWT – everything that the God has decided is the best and we have to support each other and become an adaptive, innovative and efficient human resources.
