Slowly but surely, Unisma continues to pave its way to a World-Class University. This was conveyed by the rector of Unisma, Prof. Dr. H Maskuri Msi, in a virtual meeting entitled “Unisma’s  Leader Gathering with Parents of New Students of the 2021/2022 Academic Year” (19/9).
Prof. Maskuri explained that the basic education developed by Unisma was not only touching intellect and rationality but also inseparable from morality and spirituality.
The basics are applying the principles of Islam Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah (Aswaja) An Nahdliyah based on moderate, harmony, tolerance, justice, and admonition of amar makruf nahi munkar which is carried out consistently and sustainably. “So Unisma is determined to lead students to become intellectual scholars,” he said.
Furthermore, the rector of Unisma advised that the role of parents in the world of education is also very important to realize the dreams of the nation’s children. Moreover, in the era of Independent Learning –Independent Campus now, Unisma encourages student innovation and productivity because learning is not always carried out on campus but also in various levels of community life.
Prof. Maskuri also expressed his appreciation and welcomed the parents of the new students. “Welcome to the green campus, the Nahdlatul Ulama campus, the superior campus because Unisma is included in the superior campus category both nationally and based on LLDIKTI as the Islamic campus because Unisma always develops the integration of science and religion,” he concluded.
