OPENING  INSIGHTS ON THE MOTIVATING ORGANIZATIONAL PROGRAM AND PROTOTYPE CURRICULUM IN BAWEAN  ISLAND

The Rector of Unisma again carried out his working visit. After some time in East Kalimantan, this time the rector of Unisma, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si, visited Bawean from Thursday (24/2) to Monday (28/2).

Some of the rector agendas and Vice-Rector 4 of Unisma in Bawean include delivering a general stadium explaining the role of school principals in supporting the Motivating Organizational Program. This activity was attended by around 50 participants consisting of school principals and teachers in the Ma’arif educational institutions in Bawean.

Unisma’s Rector, Prof. Maskuri,  said that the Motivating Organizational Program has become an obligatory program in today’s times. Insights about 21st-century education which is in line with autonomous learning must be developed. The principle is a determining element for the success of this program. “We combine this material with the prototype curriculum training for educators as an effort to improve the quality of education towards global competitiveness,” he said.

Prof. Maskuri said that the general stadium and prototype curriculum training discussed strategic policies in the development of education in Indonesia, especially at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels. The principal is one of the developers of the Motivating Organizational Program.

“The first thing that needs to be addressed in education is Human Resources (HR) because of the quality of human resources spearhead is the leader as the head of the school or madrasa,” he explained.

Furthermore, the rector of Unisma said that education in remote areas was often left behind. Access to information and the lack of coaching experts g have hampered the acceleration of the pace of education. Therefore, Unisma’s actions and role in this matter are expected to change their mindset, which was originally static to be more dynamic.
