The rector of Unisma received CSR (corporate social responsibility) for an ambulance from BRI Martadinata Malang branch, Saturday (8/5). After the symbolic handover, Prof. Dr. Maskuri M.Si, the rector of Unisma,  did a test drive for the  ambulance around the campus with Syarif Budiman, the head of the BRI Martadinata branch office.

The rector of Unisma expressed his gratitude and invited BRI to participate in the Independent Learning- Independent Campus program to enhance student competence. “Unisma wants to have a branding class. We will prepare a class. It can be for any bank. I have distributed it to several banks. The class will be taken by professionals,” explained the rector.

He wanted the class to be attended by students who were focused on one thing for example village-owned enterprises, agroponics, education etc. According to him, this is outside of academic activities. In addition, there are community service activities where partners are also needed.

One of Unisma’s plans is a santri (religious) village in the Madyopuro area of Malang City. This activity is to support the icon of religious tourism there. “This is also in the context of Independent Learning- Independent Campus program,” he said.
